Master Plant Medicine & Yoga Retreat in Sacred Valley, Peru
December 15 - 23, 2024
With heartfelt joy and reverence, I invite you to embark on a transformative journey with plant medicine. Join us for a nine-day retreat in the Sacred Valley, where the majestic Andes and the warmth of Peruvian culture create a perfect backdrop for exploring a profound connection with your mind and body.
During this immersive experience, you will tap into the healing power of plant medicine, overcome obstacles, liberate your spirit, and uncover your true self. Our time together will be enriched with daily yoga, integration circles, fire ceremonies, traditional sweat lodges, cacao ceremonies, and our medicine journies—offering a harmonious blend of practices to support your growth.
Since 2018, my travels to Peru have deepened my bond with this sacred land, its beautiful people, and its revered plant medicines. Each visit has been a profound journey of personal healing and rediscovery.
I am honored to hold this sacred space for you and support you on your path to healing and self-discovery.
With gratitude and love,
Brandi

Flight to Cusco (CUZ) is not included.
Day of arrival (10/19) shuttle from the Cusco to the retreat center is included.
The shuttle will be departing at 2:00 pm, from Plaza de Armas Cusco on 12/15.
If you arrive in Cusco before this date or time there is plenty to do in Cusco including great hostels, delicious restaurants, tours, walking the amazing city, churches, markets, and more. Inquire with Brandi directly for locations and suggestions.
Please look for flights directly into Lima first, and then a separate domestic flight from Lima to Cusco. It will likely be much cheaper this way.
Many flights to Lima land late at night, and most flights from Lima to Cusco are very early in the morning. There is a hotel across the walkway from the airport. I recommend staying the night there to avoid odd late-night hours at the Lima airport.
The domestic flight from LIM to CUZ will cost anywhere from $20-$200 (depending on the airline and timing of purchase.)
Email Brandi with any specific questions regarding flights
When booking your flights please keep in mind that Pisac, Cusco, and Sacred Valley sit at a very high altitude (Cusco is around 12,000 ft.) If possible, arriving a day before and staying in Cusco or Pisac is recommended so you have time for your body to adjust to the altitude.
-
Previously attended an Ayahuasca ceremony or at least 2 Sacred, Prema, or holotropic Breathwork classes (with Brandi or another practitioner.)
Wildflowers Yoga offers sacred breathwork classes monthly in person and online occasionally, which you can attend with Brandi or any of the other skilled guides. You can read more about Prema Breathwork here, and begin your healing journey now!

There is a specific diet to follow before sitting with plant medicine, and it is recommended to follow it for a month before the retreat, if possible.
It is suggested to follow this protocol to the best of your ability before the retreat, and we will be eating foods during the retreat that specifically follow this as well.
If you can, please follow this dieta for 30 days prior. If this is not possible for 30 days, please work with it for 2 weeks at least.
For this dieta we recommend using very little to no salt, sugar, fruits, oils, citrus, spices, garlic, onion, red meats, cacao, chocolate, coffee, milk products, alcohol, and pharmaceuticals.
In your application, please be sure to list all pharmaceuticals that you may be currently taking, and in your initial call, more will be discussed.

Working with Master Plants is a profound and ancient practice, requiring careful preparation of both body and mind.
To ensure that everyone is ready for this deep journey, breathwork is a prerequisite for the retreat. This ensures that each participant has had a similar experience in exploring their psyche through breathwork.
The retreat offers a space for significant depth and healing, often involving the release or calling in of substantial elements. It is crucial that each participant understands their own coping strategies and processing tools. Reflect on how these tools currently serve you and assess your readiness for the profound work with Master Plants.
Attending at least two breathwork sessions before the retreat will help you approach this experience with a foundational understanding of what to expect.
If you are currently seeing a therapist, please consult with them before signing up.

The retreat center is located just on the outskirts of Pisac, a market town where you will find many different textiles, sacred items, crystals, musical instruments, food, and so many beautiful and happy indigenous people.
During the intensity of this retreat, you will likely be deep into your own experience of uncovering your truth. During this time (even in your “free time”) it is not recommended that you go shopping in town. It can be a lot on the physche and nervous system to go from the seclusion of the plant medicine environment to the markets of Pisac. It is reccomended that you plan a day or so on either end of your trip to explore the beautiful town and markets.
It is recommended to arrive in Peru at least one day early to acclimate to the high altitude of this land.
It is recommended to stay in Peru for at least one day post-retreat if possible, to help with your integration process.
There are MANY sacred sites that can be accessed in the Sacred Valley. Most of these are only a short drive away and will need a little planning to get there. Here are a few favorites:
Pisac Archeological Site & Sun Temple - Located in the terraces directly above Pisac, this historical site can be hiked from the town of Pisac (~3+ hrs), or you can drive to the parking lot closest to the Sun Temple and walk from there. This is one of my favorite locations to hike! The views are stunning.
Machu Picchu - If you’re planning on exploring this sacred site, book your train and entrance ticket NOW! Entry to this sacred site is limited daily. Machu Picchu is only accessible by train or via a guided tour hike. Access to Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes is either a hike up flights of stairs, or you can purchase a bus ticket in town to take you.
Aguas Calientas - This town in the Urubamba River Valley is known for its thermal baths and as a gateway to the nearby Inca ruins of Machu Picchu. It is a wonderful place to stay where you can find many markets, great, wildlife sanctuaries, food, places to stay, and a beautiful rushing river here. It is a great place to stay before or after your visit to Machu Picchu to help with ease of travel.
Ollantaytambo Archeological Site - About 90 min from Pisac, this beautiful site is an easy hike and very accessible for all. This is the town where you will catch the train to Machu Picchu.
Salineras de Maras - Maras Salt Mines of the Sacred Valley, located 32 miles from Pisac. With over 3,000 ponds, owned by over 600 local families, this is one of my favorite places to sit in awe at the capacity of humans and ancient practices.
Moray - An archaeological site in approximately 50 kilometres (31 mi) northwest of Cuzco on a high plateau at about 3,500 meters. Composed of three circular terraces, this is an ancient landmark that was used for experimental agriculture. The inca were able to grow tropical plants from the coast in high altitude lands, as the depth of these terraces (at about 150 meters) created the appropriate environment.
Mercado Central de San Pedro - The San Pedro Market is located a short walk from the Plaza de armas in Cusco.
Mercado De Urubamaba - This authentic market in Urumamba is located about an hour from Pisac and is full of local vendors from all over the Sacred Valley.
